If you’ve replaced the Front Absorbers but are still hearing a knocking sound when crossing bumps, the first question we always ask is, ‘Did you replace them as a set?’ It’s highly recommended to replace both the Front Absorbers and Mountings together.
Some workshops, with good intentions to save customers money, may replace only the Absorbers. However, this approach can sometimes lead to misalignment, resulting in ongoing issues like knocking noises. For optimal performance and to prevent further wear, replacing the Absorbers and Mountings as a set is often the best solution.
