We noticed cake of powdery residue formed at the Upper Hose connection. Squeeze tests confirmed the Hose was stressed and cracked.
Genuine BMW 528i Radiator Top Hose engineered for factory performance (Top) ready for the swap.
Notably the Return Hose is bloated with internal wall choked with Coolant residue (Bottom). Replacement is imminent.
With the principal issue addressed, we also checked other components and found the bad Return Hose also needed replacement.
