The new BMW 7-Series has made a tremendous technological quantum leap with the new sixth generation design. The clever low-set dash gives the visual impression of an airy cabin. An airline-style tray table and a twin-10-inch-screen entertainment system add to the whimsical touch. The instrument cluster is configurable on the graphics and color scheme depending on drive mode – Eco pro, comfort or sport.
The long-wheelbase BMW 740Li gets the N55 inline six-cylinder 3-litre engine with single twin-scroll turbocharger rated at 320 hp and 330 pound-feet of torque. Paired with BMW’s eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, the power-train claims a top speed of 250km/h and 5.6 seconds in the century sprint.
