Here comes the second-generation BMW X1 Crossover, armed with plenty of new features to brag about. At Revol Carz Makeover we were pretty excited to check out the BMW’s smallest Crossover when she came in for a ZeTough Ceramic Paint Protection Coating and grooming session. This new front-wheel-drive X1 is taller, longer, and wider than the model that it replaces. The large upright BMW kidney grille, lower air intake, and characteristic “six-eyed” look formed by the twin round headlights and fog lights give the new X1 truly its distinctive looks. The heart of the BMW X1 xDrive281i is a powerful 2.0-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine that benefited from the BMW Twin-scroll turbocharger and the new generation of Valvetronic technology. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 228 horsepower marvel generates 258lb/ft of torque1250 rpm and able to sprint from 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 220 km/h… offering endless thrills. The beautiful interior is furnished with two shades of French-stitched leather, matte chrome, and piano-black accents. A 6.5-inch dash-top screen display provides a clear look at the X1’s soul and the world at large.
