For the first time, the Mondeo comes with inflatable rear seat belts that can keep the passenger tightly strapped in the case of an accident. The new system is backed by nine airbags.
Under the hood, the 2.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine delivers an impressive 240PS with a top speed of 209 km/h and acceleration from 0-100km/h in 9.1 seconds.
